Gym NYC is a small gym but has everything you need for a great workout. It's kept clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful if you have questions. Membership is cheaper than most gyms in the area and worth the price. Also there's no contracts to sign, just a waiver when you first enter.

Miss this gym. I worked out here for a few months when I lived on the block. The music was good and the people that work out here were NORMAL and cool which was nice bonus. It's pretty small but they have the latest equipment/weights and literally everything you might need as well as a mat area for stretching/yoga/bodyweight exercises and cardio machines as well. The most annoying thing was waiting to get buzzed in outside sometimes in the cold LOL

It’s always nice to find and support a family business, especially when the staff is friendly and the place is clean! The women’s locker room is clean, well maintained and they even have a vanity mirror so you can get ready after working out/showering. The front desk staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable on every aspect. The pricing is also a plus considering the fact that there are other lager corporations around that charge twice as much. I will definitely continue to renew my membership as I am very happy and comfortable in the environment!!!

I've been a member at GYMNYC for almost 5 years, and hands down, it's the best gym in Nolita – plus it's affordable unlike alternative surrounding options. The owners and staff genuinely care about the members and are always making improvements throughout the gym. Impeccably clean, top-notch equipment, and offers plenty of space for workouts. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area!!

Ok. So I love to work out and even when I travel it's important for me to get my workout in. This gym was clean, had ample equipment, and had a day pass rate that was welcoming but also high enough so that not just anyone would pay to come in off the street and use the facilities. I will workout here again when I am in the city.

Nice & clean powerlifting friendly gym with some Hammer strength machines & Rogue equipment. There is a deadlift platform, 3 full racks and a rogue Westside bench cage. Went there twice during our NYC trip and didn't missed anything.

Fantastic gym with favorite pit shark machine. Equinox never has these. Reminds me a bit of complete body. More straight forward for power lifting than equinox.

Clean and well run! The facilities seemed clean and well maintained, the front desk staff was friendly and would go back. The only thing I wonder about is that in the women’s locker room, there was a sauna set up but it seemed like it had never been turned on or used.

When I become a millionaire it will be my goal to have a basement gym like this one in my mansion. Truly love this gym for what it is. It’s underground and underrated. You get buzzed in and go down a flight of stairs and immediately feel at home if you enjoy fitness. Their gym is catered for powerlifters, body builders, Olympic lifters, truly anyone. Even cross fit. A variety of Olympic bars, chain, resistance bands, foam rollers, many attachments for the cables, the list goes on. Also the gym staff is super kind and allowed me to have a day trial at the gym when they are not really entitled to do that. I stayed for a while and tried to enjoy the gym to the fullest. It’s very clean and you can tell they are about that. I went during peak time and there was plenty of space to feel comfortable. This is all you need for a gym. I was a member of gym NYC for 2 years and it’s the best gym I’ve ever been a part of. The equipment is always so clean and high quality, very few times was there a broken machine. The staff are incredibly friendly and the value is amazing. Great community down there.
